Yesterday was Alienspy’s birthday! He got Rock Band! So I went over to his house to try out Rock Band. I have to say it is very addicting. I tried everything out but the vocals (The Dark Lord doesn’t sing!). My favorite was the drums, even though I sucked at it was a blast! Well maybe I’ll become a rock star. LOL, like thats going to happen! This is the Dark Lord signing off!

As I said in my last post I got all of the achievements for Viking: Battle for Asgard. And now the review!!
Viking: Battle for Asgard Review
Are you ready to go Viking? You better be! The goddess Hel has been banished from Asgard (the home of the gods) for disobeying Oden (the king of the gods) and in her rage has launched a full scale invasion of Midgard (earth) with her undead army. And guess what? You’re Midgard’s only hope of driving back her forces! With the help of the goddess Freya you will turn a war with out hope into a glorious victory!
The game starts out with Skarin (you) dying in a battle against Hel’s forces, but luckily Freya revives you to lead the armies of Midgard against Hel. Why she wants a guy who has already fallen in battle to lead her armies is beyond me. Anyway, the battle begins!
Throughout the game you release prisoners and free up areas under Hel’s control. Once you get enough of an army and have achieved all your other objectives the massive battle is ready. These battles are what make this game great. You fight along side your allies against massive hordes of enemies. To end these battles you must complete objectives that only you can do, like kill a certain number of shamans or a certain number of giants. The only problem with these battles is the lag that comes when the screen is overflowing with enemies, but in my experience it only adds to the dramatic effect (most of the time).
All in all, Viking is epic to say the least. There are some issues like lag, the NPCs constant “kill the shaman!” during the battles, and some of the voice-acting is a little too enthusiastic, but overall it is a great game. I give it a 8.5/10.

I’ve been away for a while, and you guessed it, I’m going to post something!!! You’re shocked I know. I’ve been playing a lot of games. I beat Viking and got all the achievements for it, I beat Gears of War on Insane difficulty, and I got my first prestige mode on CoD4! Yeah, I’ve been busy. If any of you have beaten Gears of War on Insane you know its well… INSANE!! The last boss fight must have taken me at least 50 tries. And( with the help of Alienspy) I got all the achievements on CoD4!! God I need to get a life! There’s been a lot of stuff going on in the gaming world, so in case your out of touch I’ll fill you in. The Gears of War 2 trailer came out, they announced the release date for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed( September 16, 2008), and they announced The Lord of the Rings: Conquest which looks freakin awesome!! Its A LOTR game that is like Star Wars Battlefront. I’m psyched. Well, this is the Dark Lord signing off!

The Dark Lord here, today I played Halo with my friend alienspy. I’m a Colonel grade 2 with a highest skill of 40 in Lone Wolf. My friend is a lieutenant grade 2. I also played Call of Duty 4 with him. He has several prestige modes and I don’t have a single prestige mode. He is, to say the least, obsessed with COD4. Anyway, we were playing search and destroy and me and my friend were dead. Our teammate was at, what we thought, the wrong bomb site (we were on defense) and out of no where the last enemy runs in front of him and our teammate kills him. Me and alienspy laughed so freakin’ hard. I’ll start doing reviews either tomorrow or Thursday (I have homework). This is the Dark Lord signing off!

Hello everybody and welcome to the Blog of a Sith Lord. When I’m not killing jedi I like to play video games and I will be writing a lot about them. Of course I like Star Wars games except for Obi-Wan, I hate that game!! I own an Xbox 360, a PS2, a Gamecube, and a DS. The genres that I like are: RPGs, strategy games, shooters, adventure games, and MMORPGs. I play on xbox live as Darthmonkey25. My favorite games are: Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, WoW, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Oblivion.
